Personally, I have more faith in God Alone than I have in DoJ, FBI and John Ashcroft combined. And even though I fear DoJ, FBI and John Ashcroft, and where I guess they're taking the American people - down the road to Nazification, I fear a Miracle of God even more. In fact, I pray for an Act of God to fry the true evil-doers at their source no matter which bush be burnt in the process. The problem with most reporters nowadays is that they have heavy burdens of assignments given them, and deadlines to meet, which gobble up all their time. There are almost no true investigative reporters anymore. They cost too much, and they run into too many dead ends that looked so good at first. So they take whatever is fed them, print it and go home for the day exhausted. If that lady in CT was an active, vibrant person who got around a lot, then someone decided the media didn't need to know that. Back in the late 60's -- early 70's, I took it upon myself to look into the Kennedy assassination. I went to the kill zone in Dallas and I personally interviewed former New Orleans DA Jim Garrison on Bourbon Street. Garrison had just published his first book on the assassination, and it was by pure luck that I ran into him while I was out enjoying New Orlean's night life. Garrison was one of the first to question the Warren Report's findings, and I found him to be a valuable source for all kinds of information at the time, and for years afterward. The reason I bring this up is that I had to be on an airplane every two days, flying to large and small cities all over the US at the time. When I was in the South, including Texas, newspapers reported Garrison's theories as quite sound and interesting and even compelling. But when I was in CA or NY or IL or OR, Garrison was depicted in those newspaper stories as a screwball, not to be taken seriously. Jim Garrison, God rest his soul, was anything BUT a screwball nutcase, I assure you, and we are now seeing documentaries on respected programs like the Discovery Channel and the History Channel titled "The Men Who Killed Kennedy". My point is that even back then, the news was being controlled very, very well. The question you must ask yourself is the question Jim Garrison asked of himself back then, and that is; who benefits? Who benefits by making the general population believe this 94 year-old, highly active, gadabout lady was a stay-at-home cripple who almost never left her front door? When you know the answer to that, you are a long way toward learning the truth. I haven't a clue why they'd want to suppress something as easy to verify as that. What you need to do right away is make some phone calls to people there in CT you know and trust who have absolute, eye-witness sources they can lead you to that will verify she was as active as you've been told. If she went to church, call up her pastor and ask him, because elderly widows are often quite active in their churches. If she was significantly impaired, or as active as a teenager, you'll find out from her pastor. Keep me posted on what you learn. I have actually read some of your articles and said to myself tooooooooooooo paranoid for me, but you know what? I have to wonder why the media gets so many things wrong. Do they actually work that hard at getting so many things wrong? I am from Connecticut and personally know someone who knew the woman that died from anthrax there in Oxford, my Mom's home town. I just heard on the news "AGAIN"!!!!! she was a homebound woman that never got out much. BULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ed. note: dunno if anyone noticed but since the 27th or so of November, we haven't updated this page. So today we do a quick review of these recent days; starting with George Harrison which is a lifetime of work so we'll just mention the Concert for Bangladesh, and leave it at that. No slight. Anything else you need on the subject is available at People magazine. >> Last night Jenn and I decided we were going to get a copy of the Concert for Bangladesh album for our Christmas this year. This morning we learned about George Harrison. He was my exact same age. Life is precious and can too easy get away. We decided not to wait till Christmas. While today I was swamped with work, Jenn drove over to Eugene, copped us a CD version of the album and was home in time for dinner. We listened to Side 1 with our meal. I hadn't heard the Bangladesh album since 1971-72. Somehow I hadn't forgotten a single note of the Ravi Shankar presentation, and it was good to hear all those old players from back in those old days. Really too bad about George. Until today I didn't realize George and Duh have the same first name. Regular readers may have noticed, we dropped the Hail to the Thief banner ridiculing George W. Henceforth we can't portray Duh as a dummy although he is probably the most profoundly ignorant disclaimer to occupy the Oral Office since Warren G. Harding or Ronnie Ray-gun. Like Reagan, Duh has gotten better at reading cue-cards so dummy status isn't completely lost on the buffoon spokesman for Duh & Company - with an emphisis on "The Company" and companies that include Haliburton and Enron - with White House ties that stretch all the way to the battlefields of Afghanistan. John Ashcroft is an evil s.o.b., in that nearly single handedly and as Attorney General of the United States, he has redefined patriotism to mean being an American without rights. Under the Duh & Company regime, with Ashcroft heading the Department of Justice, the Bill of Rights which includes Free Speech and justice as we ever knew it in America is being threatened like at no time in the history of the United States. Politically Incorrect (the TV program), and the word-coupling, under Ashcroft have also been redefined as unpatriotic as synonymous with treasonous. What were the sponsors of Politically Incorrect thinking of to support such a broadcast that the first time something "politically incorrect" was said on Politically Incorrect they then drop their sponsorship OR worse, that in order to exist as a television program the writers no longer write anything politically incorrect for broadcast? Censorship from the Duh & Company/Ashcroft government is bad enough but self-censorship is just plain chickenshit. Duh & Company DID steal the Presidential election. Duh should have never been selected by his father's CIA and (five out of nine) U.S. Supreme Court justices to be (acting) President of the United States. This is a story that was effectively buried in the rubble of the World Trade Center disaster on 911. How can we trust the son of a Bush? The "war on terrorism" is as fake an endeavor as the War on Poverty ever was. And does anyone want to touch the Anthrax issue? And then there is the ground war in Afghanistan. Done anyone want to touch the (War on Drugs) opium or (energy crisis) oil pipeline issue?? There is more Orwellian double-speak bullshit (not to be confused with chickenshit) per column inch and on cable news than any we've seen since George Carlin became a professional comedian. The Taliban? Evil to the core, having made a mockery of the Prophet's Islam! The American people are however being giving up to an Apocalypse Now kind of evil at the hands of those who make Osama & Company look like Saints. Duh & Company attempted to steal Democracy, and now it seems they won't have their fill until they utterly destroy America's freedom too. In terms of quantifying evil, Duh & Company, including John Ashcroft seem hell bent in accomplishing what bin Laden and terrorists never would have been able to pull off without the U.S. government's help. From the git, Duh & Company characterized "the terrorists" as evil doers. That was the first post-911 joke!! That was the pot calling the kettle black in spades!! It is expected that the bin Ladens of this world would target The Great Satan as their enemy of choice. There is no more evil on the American horizon however than Duh & Company and their attempt to murder the freedom of the American people. Saddam kills his own. bin Laden worse? bin Laden slept with Bush. Duh & Company knew the doings of bin Laden going all the way back Iran/Contra, and did absolutely nothing to prevent 911. Just as 911 was the best thing that could ever have happened in order for Duh & Company to cause American citizens to surrender their democracy and freedom, 911 was the best thing that could ever happened for the cause of Zionism - all in the name of a War on Terrorism. Fairness is no longer part of the equation where freedom or peace or justice is concerned. American citizens can now be considered unpatriotic or treasonous for saying what is true about the policies of the Duh & Company administration; that Osama bin Laden and Duh have made a mockery of human existence, and on a daily basis they prove it out by continuing to kill human beings or they look the other way (as a matter of policy) while others kill at their behest. War is a barbaric way of solving the problems of humanity. The dollar cost and the profits to the world's arms manufacturers is obscene. Not only because it is a government out-of-control shell game on taxpayers, but beacuse children throughout the world go without medical and dental treatment because governments can't afford adequate care for children. Why? Because they think they must spend their resources (and citizens' taxpayers hard earned dollars) on defense. The same arms manufactures sell to both sides, and pay higher priced bribes to both sides than the medical establishments can pay for the care of children. Just because we've written Duh & Company and the Taliban off as barbarians, and just because we believe Duh & Company are manifest evil, we won't lose our sense of humor; that IF every vote would have been counted in Florida, Gore would have been President of the United States today, and that at the hands of Duh & Company AMERICA IS HELD HOSTAGE! The plight of Blacks, women and minorities where the reversal of any inch-by-inch progress made since the beginning of the Civil Rights Days is now obvious, and with the exception of racial profiling which under the Stalinists was no good, and Ruby Ridge and Waco happened on the Stalinist watch, at least the Clinton/Gore didn't have enemies lists of the Nixionian variety. To hear John Ashcroft tell it, anyone who doesn't go along with Duh & Company's brand of New World Order will be automatic suspect. And then what? Then? How about now?
