Bill says he intends to provide the people of West Lane County with morally responsible representation; leave a positive and lasting legacy for future generations; promote a balance between resources and economic growth; promote education, training and social service programs that are aimed at lifting all people to their highest potential; create an atmosphere of transparency and openness in government; help promote the interaction of various governmental bodies to provide for a more efficient and cost effective transfer of services, and to listen to the people. Bill has pledge not to accept campaign contributions or endorsements; to spend less than $2000 on this campaign (Filed Form PC-7 on 4/15/02). Bill pledges that he will equally, and fairly, represent the people and businesses of Lane County, and will not tolerate special interest, political or media influences! While candidate Fleenor has some lofty ideas about restoring faith in our County Government, he also brings to the process a says it all pledge and campaign promise: "I will obey the law!"  |
