Bill says he intends to provide the people of West Lane County with morally responsible representation; leave a positive and lasting legacy for future generations; promote a balance between resources and economic growth; promote education, training and social service programs that are aimed at lifting all people to their highest potential; create an atmosphere of transparency and openness in government; help promote the interaction of various governmental bodies to provide for a more efficient and cost effective transfer of services, and to listen to the people. Bill has pledge not to accept campaign contributions or endorsements; to spend less than $2000 on this campaign (Filed Form PC-7 on 4/15/02). Bill pledges that he will equally, and fairly, represent the people and businesses of Lane County, and will not tolerate special interest, political or media influences! While candidate Fleenor has some lofty ideas about restoring faith in our County Government, he also brings to the process a says it all pledge and campaign promise: "I will obey the law!"  |

"When we got to the centre of the compound, shots were fired over our heads without warning and then four stun grenades were thrown at us," Lloyd Quinan told BBC Radio Scotland Monday. "Then the Israeli Defence Force soldiers appeared, manhandled myself and a number of other people from the compound while throwing stun grenades," he said. The MSP, a member of the Scottish Nationalist Party, said that the experience was "very frightening" and the behaviour of Israeli troops was "despicable." He said that he had sustained cuts and bruises during the incident but a German camerawoman, who was also visiting the area under the auspices of the Red Crescent and International Solidarity Movement, suffered shrapnel injuries to her foot.
But spokesman for the Israeli regime, Daniel Seaman, expressed no regrets over the attack. The fact was that "he wasn't shot at and killed, which would have been done in any other country in the world," he maintained. Now, I'm not suggesting it's due to our emails alone, but the fact is that the Senate has voted to block drilling. The people have spoken, power to the people! Nevertheless, as I'm sure you already know, The Idiot Bush continues pandering to the energy industry. Don't get me wrong: I'm very fond of electricity, various forms of transportation, and all that, and those require energy. But, as the New York Times reports today, the ". . . entire energy industry [has] won an abundance of appointments and regulatory decisions made by Mr. Bush and his 15-month-old administration." If McKinney's allegations of George WWIII & Company covering up something ranging from Carlyle (George HW) to Grassy Knoll circa 1963 (George HW) is really the stuff Grassy Knoll is made up of, so be it. Gore Vidal saying variations of the same thing can't be written off so easily. According to "Israeli Spies Exposed" by John F Sugg, Weekly Planet (AlterNet), "Bush administration shills were quick to try to spin the Israeli Spies story perhaps to minimize damage, should it turn out the government did have information in advance about the people or activities that led to the September 11 attack." Gore Vidal indicates that 911, while a killer of people, sure enough, was the final nail in the democracy coffin; the second to the last nail was the U.S. Supreme Court's "selection" of George WWIII in conjunction with the Florida vote fraud episode.
