Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS), a closet extremist and ultraconservative ideology monger is blocking funds for an investigation into intelligence failures leading up to the September 11 attacks. Lott has moved to block $1.5 million in funds that would allow the Senate Judiciary committee to investigate any intelligence mistakes by the FBI leading up to the September 11 attacks. No, you would be surprised to know how disenfranchised the Militia is with GW. Anyone who knows the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the intent behind them is extremely alarmed at the steps taken by the Bush Administration to provide us more "safety". For one thing, we noticed there are just too many inconsistencies in Bush, as applied to what a true Christian would be expected to do. I don't understand your question regarding interpretation of the 2nd Amedment. Abraham bore Ishmael through Hagar before Sarah bore Isaac. What did Shakespeare know? Anyway, yes, I believe we are on a very dangerous path. We lost 2300 people in the World Trade Center attack, yet we are placing 100 times that number of citizens at risk by the current policy, and we still have no real increase in security from further attacks except in specific cases like airports. But schools are wide open for suicide attacks as well as hit and run attacks, sniper attacks, etc. So are churches. You want a nice, soft target? Pick any Christian church on Sunday, and if you've got it wired ahead of time with explosives, you can bag a whole bunch of Americans in one shot, and probably live free to do it again. Worden" The violence unleashed on the innocents as we've seen between the Palestinian and the Israeli, and the (Indian) Muslim and Hindu being due to long held grudge, not like white men blowing up black churches in the US. Although George WWII & Company, including the religious sickos John Ashcroft and John Bennett would like to see a kind of "religious war" that would have Muslims blowing up Christian churches here in the US, that is really the trait of domestic racists and bigots. If it happens, don't look to Muslims; look to the Klan, neo-Nazis and anti-abortion nuts, or to the government's own mischief makers - the same bunch who unleashed the anthrax on us. For clarification on the "only" son of Abraham. That is how the King James Version explains it, so the offspring of Ishmael are all bastard children. That has served the Jews and Christians well for centuries. It's just a minor detail but it goes a long way in explaining how the current US policy toward Muslims is somehow acceptable to the west, and in particular where warring factions of US, the Brits and the Israeli are concerned; they couldn't leave home without it as policy or the law of the land. I hope that also clarifies the Second Amendment "opposite" mentioned in my previous message. The "liberals" want to interpret the Second Amendment to mean the (individual states) National Guard(s) will have the right to bear arms, while the literalists interpret the Second Amendment to mean every citizen of the United States will have the right to bear arms. The KJV'ers (the literalists) interpret Scripture to mean it's ok to trounce the Muslims (and the Jews) for centuries because Ishmael was the bastard son of Abraham, and the Jews killed Jesus. A nice little literary package to neatly explain who is really responsible for what where mass consciousness and wholesale ignorance dictates the play of the day.
