However, to not have helped drive Mike's 911 "wooden stake" Timeline into the heart of the media silence demon works in favor of the the bad guys, whoever they are and were before journalists began turning against each other. I am old enough to remember the first few moments of the Kennedy assassination reports on national TV, and in the days following, many a comic, not the least of which were Dick Gregory and Mort Saul deduced there was more to the killing of JFK than a lone nut. The status quo mongers of the Warren Commission ilk (of which Cokie Boggs Roberts' dad was a member) rolled over to a lowest common denominator acceptance level story that fit within the framework of plausible deniability for the U.S. intelligence agencies, and a scenario ordinary citizens could live with. Truth was not a factor at the time. Dick Gregory and Mort Saul quit being funny. Even as early as1971, then House Majority Leader Hale Boggs, maybe feeling somewhat guilty about his role in the JFK assassination cover up was saying, "Today, as we in the Congress undertake to recover and restore the people's liberty, we find that it is ourselves who are called to account, ourselves who are under surveillance, ourselves who are prisoners of the power which our silence permitted to come into being." I'll save Boggs' "1984 is closer than we think" comments for another occasion. With the Robert Kennedy assassination still fresh in mind, within the first three seconds of my having learned about 911, I suspected Mossad. If they didn't do it, they knew in advance about it (as in a re-run of the Beirut bombing). Sure enough, they did admit to knowing (something), but had covered their intelligentsia's ass by also copping that they'd copped to the U.S. government what they knew from early on, and thereby putting who knew what when and who did or didn't do something about it in the government's court... Not the U.S. Supreme Court, I hope, because I'm of the opinion the Court Whores' "selection" process overrode the our democracy's "election" process and the ordinary principles of democracy -- of the kind President Carter expects when he goes to foreign countries to watch dog their elections. Even twenty years after the Revolution in Iran, I believe my kind of Muslim could have convinced the Mullahs that the Tudeh [Communist] Party was lawful, and within the bounds of Islam based on al-Qu'ran's take on slavery; the rich didn't have to fast, all they had to do was free a slave. And prayer five times a day? The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, organized the first labor union, with five breaks a day, no less, for the enslaved. And who ain't, then and now? The Tudehs argued their case but they didn't know al-Shari'a (Islamic law) well enough to pass muster with the Mullahs. Open (for two years) and shut case: Tudeh was banned for lack of knowledge, not because they were godless communists. ...I never, ever thought of The Nation as a perpetuator of the status quo or a mischief maker. Unfortunately, in the case of who was responsible for 911; for pulling the trigger, and for allowing it to happen without warning, I now have to look more closely at The Nation's motivation because indeed, in their attempt to discredit Mike Ruppert, they ARE perpetuating the status quo, and to say they are making mere mischief is kind when you look at the Palestinian "problem" and knowing without a solution to the problem, there will never ever be peace. What responsibility does Free Speech and Free Press have in this matter? None, necessarily. But when The Nation abandons news reporting and instead takes to sniping at the www.copvcia.coms of this world, we hafta wonder what's what?? There are still some very serious 911 and anthrax questions about who, what, where, when, how, and WHY that need some well investigated answers. So far the questions are not even being asked just right. We would have expected The Nation to be helping us ask the right questions, and to help us get the right answers. So why, why, why would The Nation balk? Could it be that they have an Israeli (policy) blind spot?? I am a Muslim so if I state a scenario that has 911 being a Mossad operation, which I suspected from the first minute, I can't be taken seriously because I am a Muslim, with a Palestinian (problem) blind spot? But in truth, the only reason I didn't credit the George HW off-the-shelf CIA for 911 is because they're not even smart enough to cover their Kennedy assassination or Iran-Contra tracks, while Mission Impossible (Hollywood) is, and Mossad has the intel and intelligence to organize such an attack. So who else? bin Laden?? Give me a break!! No "deals" get done without a nod from either CIA or Mossad, and the only reason CIA has a say is because they furnish the black ops milk money. The word "scenario" is just right. A scenario was worked out way in advance of 911 that opened the way for there to be a war in Afghanistan, and for the purpose of controlling some vital pipeline and/or heroin and/or gold mining real estate. The Bush and bin Laden (families) and the Carlyle Group cast of characters and companies could be the reason no honorable journalist wants to muck around in such a disgusting story, nonetheless... The 911 scenario includes the (now) "known" terrorists who may not have even boarded those planes. If any part of that is so, then how did those planes get flown and aimed? and what happened to the patsies? and who did them? and where are the bodies and black boxes buried?? There is enough raw evidence out there, as what surfaced in the first few hours of the JFK assassination and that has held solid over the years, for us to ask these "Mike Vreeland" and accused terrorists "who never made the flight" questions. Trotsky once said to stay focused on (only) one political issue at a time, but the anthrax may tie in more closely to the 911 than anyone could have ever imagined. If that is so, then whoever the "domestics" are also had advance warning or were operating on a time schedule so the WTC/Pentagon and anthrax attacks could happen up together. Certainly the actual anthrax attacks starting just eight days after 911 needed some planning or was it just a coincidence that the 911ers and the anthraxers did what they did within a time span of two weeks? If we have ruled out Ayaad Assaad as the anthrax culprit, the real anthrax guy isn't a lone nut; he's working with others. I suggest his handlers and the 911 handlers are one and the same. When is someone going to break the Silkwood, uh, anthrax story? That should likely bridge right on over to 911 without skipping a beat.
